I have over 20 years of experience in the GIS field, including 16 at AppGeo, in which I have managed dozens of GIS consulting projects. My areas of expertise are GIS consulting, project management, spatial data analysis, remote sensing applied to geosciences and geospatial projects, and field data collection using GPS. My experience includes needs assessments, implementation and strategic planning, data development, quality control and integration, geographic analysis, image interpretation and processing, conservation planning, environmental research, commercial development, drafting, and demographic analysis. I have also worked as a GIS professional in positions in state and municipal government. I received a B.S. in Geography from New Mexico State University and a Masters in Environmental Science and Management, specializing in GIS & Remote Sensing, from the University of Rhode Island. I'm currently Chair of the RIGIS Executive Committee and member of the RIGIS Outreach and Data Management Working Groups. I'm an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and audiobook listener!
